Overview: The Mechanic Helper role involves in assisting experienced mechanics in
maintaining and repairing buses. The position plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation
of the workshop and supporting the overall efficiency of the team.

Tasks:
∙Move tools, equipment and other materials
∙Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public
∙Perform miscellaneous labouring activities to help tradespeople, apprentices and other
workers as directed
∙Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient environment
∙Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed
∙Maintain supply storage areas and maintain equipment and supplies
∙Perform other labouring and elemental activities
∙Learn from experienced mechanics and acquire practical skills
