Job Summary:

We are looking for passionate and experienced Cooks to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain high food quality standards, and ensure customer satisfaction. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of dishes, following our restaurant’s recipes and food safety standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.
Ensure that food meets the highest quality standards.
Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen area, including handling and storing food safely.
Train kitchen staff as needed.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely preparation of meals.
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures as per company standards.
Qualifications:

Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience as a cook or in food preparation is preferred.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene.
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Languages: English (Additional languages relevant to the cuisine/business are an asset).
**Wage & Benefits:**

– Salary: $28.85 per hour

– Work Hours: 40 hours per week

– Overtime pay as per Canadian labour regulations
