Suda Restaurant & Cafe is located at 3415 30th Avenue, Vernon, BC V1T 2E3. We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Restaurant Manager. If you are interested, please submit your application by e-mail or mail.

Position: Restaurant Manager

Wage: CAD $27.70/hour

Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evenings, weekend, and holidays)

Working hours: 30~40 hours/week

Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·      Manage daily restaurant operations;

·      Monitor sales, set menu pricing, and manage budgets and inventory including receipts and bill payments;

·      Plan and coordinate overall employee schedules;

·      Monitor employee performance and conduct performance evaluations;

·      Review food ingredient usage and waste levels to determine ordering needs and negotiate with suppliers;

·      Handle customer complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction;

·      Respond to and manage emergency situations as required;

·      Recruit (resume review and interviews) and oversee employee training and supervision;

·      Conduct staff meetings to discuss operational issues and improvements;

·      Ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders to customers.

Job Requirements:

·      Completion of secondary school; and

·      Minimum 3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, is required.

·      Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is an asset.
