Pub Italia is looking for an experience full-time cook specializing in Italian food for our busy pub in Ottawa, starting as soon as possible. Successful candidate must have at least 7 months to one year of experience in the same position or setting. Main duties include:
– Preparing Italian dishes for customers (dine-in and take-out)
– Preparing and marinate all kinds of meats and seafood for cooking
– Helping other kitchen staff, if necessary
– Evaluating menu’s food portions
– Ensuring that food meets quality standards
– Maintaining sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
Hourly wage ranges from $17.00 to $19.00
No degree, certificate or diploma required
Less than 1 year experience in the same setting
