One (1) Truck Driver-Supervisor in Stouffville, ONFull-Time

Ram Air Logistics Transportation Inc. is looking for One (1) Truck Driver-Supervisor to perform the following duties:

·         Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of truck drivers and other transport vehicles

·         Supervise Loading equipment on and off truck including items up to 1000lbs using a forklift

·         Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments

·         Organize effective routes to complete the delivery schedules for each day

·         Review orders scheduled for delivery

·         Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve performance

·         Requisition materials and supplies

·         Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies

·         Train employees to load and strap heavy equipment in compliance with MTO regulations

·         Train employees on various tools available to complete delivery

·         Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions

·         Dispatch drivers and monitor routes to ensure schedules are met and to resolve operating problems

·         Ensure the weight requirement in each order in compliance with MTO regulations

·         Track and record inventory of equipment onsite

·         Prepare work reports

Terms of Employment:

·         Salary: $37.50 per hour

·         40 hours per week; Morning; Day; Evening; Overnight; Weekend; On call; Overtime

·         Permanent, Full-Time

·         Start date: immediately

Skills Requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Completion of high school or equivalent experience

·         Experience: Minimum experience of one (1) year as driver or operator of motor transport or ground transit equipment, 26-footer truck, scheduling deliveries in compliance with MTO regulations, raising and lowering lift gate, using other various lifting tools; ELD Software; Strong knowledge of MTO Regulations; D Licence and forklift driver certification an asset.

·         Valid G-class driver’s licence with clean abstract
