One (1) Personal assistant - home care needed in Puslinch, ONFull-Time

Mr. Stark is looking for One (1) Personal assistant - home care to perform duties including the following:

• Provide care and companionship
• Administer bedside and personal care such as aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing
• Plan and prepare meals and special diets, and feed or assist in feeding
• May perform routine health-related duties such as changing non-sterile dressings, assisting in the administration of medications and collecting specimens under the general direction of home care agency supervisor or nurse
• May perform routine housekeeping duties

Terms: Full-time
Start date: Immediately
Salary: $22.60 per hour / 30 hours per week

Work location:
• Private home in Puslinch, ON
• Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis
Note: This is not a condition of employment.
• Major Intersection: Highway #6 and Highway #97 (N0B 2J0)

Skills Requirements:
• Education: minimum Secondary school or equivalent experience; College or other courses in home support, First aid certification, Completion of a training program in care of the elderly, care of persons with disabilities, convalescent care or in a related field an asset but not a condition of employment
• Experience: 6 months’ training or relevant experience
• Language: English
