One (1) Operations Manager in North York, ONFull-Time

Cafe Landwer is looking for One (1) Operations Manager to perform the following duties:

·         Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate and approve policies for the restaurant chain, i.e. all locations 

·         Formulate policies to establish the direction to be taken by Café Landwer

·         Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions

·         Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs; establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall personnel planning

·         Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff

·         Coordinate the operation of the different restaurant locations

·         Represent Café Landwer or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the company, in negotiations or other official functions.

·         Oversee creation of menus and ensure food meets quality standards

·         Authorize and oversee equipment purchases and repairs

·         Recruit and hire staff

·         Implement new cooking techniques and introduce new equipment

·         Ensure quality control, consistency and food safety

Terms of Employment:

·         Salary: $65.92 per hour; 40 hours per week

·         Permanent, Full-Time

·         Start date: immediately

Skills Requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: no education required; A university degree or college diploma in business administration, finance or other related discipline is an asset

·         Experience: minimum 3 years of experience in commercial food preparation
