Job Duties

• Mow lawns, trim edges, and maintain turf areas to a high standard
• Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other ornamental vegetation
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides according to schedules
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment including mowers and trimmers
• Install and maintain irrigation systems and water garden features
• Build and repair fences, decks, retaining walls, and garden structures
• Remove snow and ice from walkways and parking areas in winter months
• Haul and spread topsoil, gravel, mulch, and other landscaping materials
• Prune trees and shrubs to maintain shape and promote healthy growth
• Clean up debris, fallen leaves, and yard waste from properties

Requirements

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: No experience required

Work Conditions

• Outdoor work in all weather conditions
• Physically demanding — heavy lifting and repetitive tasks
• Exposure to dust, pollen, and landscaping chemicals
• Noisy equipment operation
