Salary: $17.66 - $19.87/hr / 30-40 hours per week

Job Duties

• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits for food preparation
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and utensils
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items by hand and machine
• Receive, unpack, and properly store food supply deliveries
• Remove trash, recycling, and compost from kitchen areas regularly
• Assist cooks with basic food preparation tasks as directed
• Sweep, mop, and maintain clean kitchen floors throughout shift
• Set up and break down food service stations as required
• Ensure proper rotation of food supplies following FIFO method
• Maintain organized storage areas for dry goods and refrigerated items

Requirements

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: No experience required
