Home Support Worker

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Support Worker to help a senior and provide essential care. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting the senior with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.

Duties:
– Assist us with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
– Provide meal preparation and assist with feeding if necessary
– Administer medications following prescribed guidelines
– Offer companionship and emotional support
– Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
– Support the senior with care needs
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best care
– Accompany the senior to appointments or outings as needed

Requirements:
– Previous experience in senior care or related fields is preferred
– Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus
– Ability to provide compassionate and attentive care to individuals in various settings
– Understanding of home care, assisted living, or nursing home environments
– Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively
– Must be comfortable with caregiving responsibilities and tasks
– Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
