Jerry Wakefield Construction is a construction company based out of Southern Vancouver Island that believes in high standards, excellent customer service and quality project completion. We are an industry leader in concrete and framing and specialize in wood framing, rough carpentry, concrete formwork and concrete placing and finishing.

Our broad spectrum of clients and project types can lead us from large condo buildings, to custom waterside homes. We pride ourselves in being able to complete a wide array of jobs across Southern Vancouver Island.

Overview: We are a strong team and are rapidly growing in all areas. We are excited to offer new positions within our organization such as; Labourers, Carpenters, and Concrete Farmworkers.

Requirements: Punctual & works well in a team environment
Keen to learn & improve his/ her skills
Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
Good understanding of basic math
Good physical condition and endurance
Ability to commute to various sites

Responsibilities: Assist skilled carpenters in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials.
Measure and cut materials according to specifications using basic math skills.
Help with concrete finishing tasks, ensuring smooth and level surfaces.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
Experience:

Construction experience: 2 years (preferred)
