Whaler’s Guesthouse – Tofino Hostel is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. You will play a key role in maintaining the high cleanliness standards that our guests consistently appreciate. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, working hands-on with their team, and taking ownership of their department in a supportive, family-like environment.

• Job duties and responsibilities:
  - Select and purchase equipment and supplies

• - Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff

• - Plan and co-ordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews

• - Establish operational procedures for the housekeeping team

• - Hire and dismiss staff

• - Supervise staff

• - Co-ordinate inspection of assigned areas

• - Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met

• - Co-ordinate maintenance and repair services

• - Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and uniforms
