Home Support Worker – Private HomeFull-Time

The home support worker will provide personal care and assistance to an adult requiring ongoing support in a private residence. Duties will include:

·       providing personal and bedside care;

·       assisting with bathing, dressing and other aspects of personal hygiene;

·       assisting with mobility, transfers and regular exercise, as appropriate;

·       preparing and serving nutritious meals and assisting with feeding, where required;

·       assisting with medications in accordance with instructions;

·       providing companionship and supervision;

·       performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to the care recipient;

·       laundering clothing and household linens;

·       assisting with grocery shopping and other necessary errands;

·       accompanying or assisting the care recipient with appointments and activities, as required; and

maintaining a safe and comfortable environment in the home.
