A private household in Edmonton, Alberta is hiring one permanent, full-time home support worker.

This is a live-out position. You would not be living at the home.

Wage: $20.00 per hour. Hours: 44 hours per week, day shift. Start date: as soon as possible. Language of work: English.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent experience.

Experience: Experience is an asset. It is not a requirement.

Duties:

Administer bedside and personal care

Administer medications

Assist with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene

Assist with regular exercise, for example walks

Feed or assist in feeding

Provide companionship

Provide personal care

Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Cook

Launder clothing and household linens

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Shop for food and household supplies

Care for pets

Work conditions: Bending, crouching and kneeling. A combination of sitting, standing and walking. Physically demanding.

Security and safety: A criminal record check and a reference are required.
