Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children in their own homes. This role involves providing attentive care, stimulating activities, and healthy meal preparation to support children's development and well-being. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine passion for caregiving, ensuring children feel loved, secure, and encouraged to explore their world.

Duties

• Provide attentive supervision and care for children in a home setting, ensuring their safety at all times

• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs and preferences

• Engage children in educational activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills

• Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing regular cleaning tasks such as tidying up play areas and laundry

• Assist with daily routines including dressing, bathing, and nap times to foster independence

• Tend to emotional well-being of children.

• Set up activities and games to play with the kids.

• Driving and picking-up kids from school.

• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents

• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, routines, and any concerns

• Assist children with homework and school projectsQualifications

• Proven experience working with children in a caregiving or teaching capacity

Qualifications

• Strong cooking skills to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children

• Ability to perform cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment

• Passionate about caregiving, teaching, and supporting children's development

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and other caregivers

• Reliable, patient, energetic, and dedicated to fostering a positive home environment

Requirements

• At least 3 years experience working as a child care provider

• 2 References from previous employers

• Driver's license

• Minimum of high school diploma
