We are looking for a reliable, caring Home Child Care Provider to help our family care for two school-aged children (ages 11 and 14). The job includes before- and after-school care during the school year and full-time care during the summer months. No formal training is needed — we will train the right person.

• Employment type: Seasonal, full-time

• Duration: Mar 22, 2027 to Nov 22, 2027

• Work location: In the family’s home in Huntsville (rural area). Non-smoking home. No remote work.

• Benefits: Vacation pay (4%); paid on-the-job training

Main Duties

• Supervise and care for two school-aged children in a private home

• Help with morning and after-school routines

• Prepare and serve nutritious snacks and meals

• Support homework and school-related activities

• Plan and lead age-appropriate games, outings, and educational activities

• Accompany the children to and from school, programs, and activities

• Provide full-day care during the summer, PD days, sick days, snow days, and school closures

• Encourage good personal hygiene and social development, and tend to the children’s emotional well-being

• Keep the home safe, healthy, and structured

• Do light housekeeping related to child care (tidying play areas, children’s laundry, meal clean-up)

• Help organize the children’s schedules and activity materials
