Job Details

• Location: various locations (on site)

• Wage: $38.40 per hour, 30 hours per week

• Employment type: permanent, full time

• Schedule: early morning, morning, day

Requirements

• Language: English

• Education: secondary (high) school graduation certificate

• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Tasks

• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs

• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse

• Empty trash cans and other waste containers

• Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings

• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs

• Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment

• Perform minor repairs on appliances

• Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies

• Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair

• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens

• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures

• Work with minimal supervision

• Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
