Bento Sushi Penticton is located at #100-2210 Main St., Penticton, BC V2A 5H8. We are currently looking for permanent, full time Japanese (sushi) cooks. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail or mail.

Position: Cook

Wage: CAD$19.00/hour

Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evening, weekends, and holidays)

Working hours: 30~ 40 hours/week

Benefits: 4% of vacation pay

Job Duties:

·           Prepare and cook Japanese sushi food items (Sashimi, Sushi, Maki, Roll, etc.) in cooperation with the rest of the staff;

·           Maintain inventory and records of food;

·           Oversee kitchen operation;

·           Train kitchen staff.

Job Requirements:

·           Completion of secondary school;

·           Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience required.

·      Skills demonstration may be required.
