My Thai Village Restaurant is hiring a full-time Cook to start immediately.

We are looking for someone with 2 to less than 3 years or more experience cooking Thai food who is

hard-working, organized, creative, team player, passionate about the food, our establishment

and customer service. Please see below for job details:

Salary: $19 - $21 hourly for 40.0 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Kanata, West, Ontario (1 vacancy)

Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-Time (Weekend, Day, Evening & Overtime)

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available

Cuisine Specialties: Thai

Types of Meals/Food Prepared: Lunches; Dinner; full course meals

Work Setting: Restaurant

On site:  Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Language: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Physically demanding;

Standing for extended periods; Repetitive tasks; Work under pressure; Attention to detail;

Handling heavy loads

Specific Skills: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods; Prepare

dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerance; Inspect kitchens and food service

areas; Supervise kitchen staff and helpers; Maintain inventory and records of food; supplies

and equipment; Clean kitchen and work areas; Manage kitchen operations; Train staff in

preparation, cooking and handling of food

Specializations: Stocks, soups and sauce, vegetables, fruits, nuts, mushrooms, meat,

poultry, and fish

Other Information: Must have experience in fruits/vegetables carving for plating; Must have

experience in cooking Thai entrees, Thai soups, Thai desserts, and Thai curries; Must have

experience cooking Thai food on a commercial work
