Bella Coola Valley Inn Restaurant is located at 441 Mackenzie Street, Bella Coola, BC V0T 1Z0. We are currently looking for a permanent, full time Cook. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail or mail.

Position: Cook

Wage: CAD$21.18/hour

Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays)

Working hours: 30~40 hours/week

Benefits: 4% of vacation pay

Job Duties:

·           Prepare and cook a variety of Western dishes such as burgers, sandwiches, pasta,  seafood, as well as Asian cuisine including Korean bulgogi dishes, Japanese sushi rolls, udon, teriyaki, Vietnamese pho, and other items on the menu;

·           Maintain inventory and records of food;

·           Oversee kitchen operation;

·           Train kitchen staff.

Job Requirements:

·           Completion of secondary school;

·           Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience.

·           Skills demonstration may be required.
