Job Duties
- Operate cash register and process customer payments accurately
- Greet customers warmly and provide courteous service
- Scan items, bag purchases, and handle returns or exchanges
- Process cash, debit, credit card, and gift card transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area at all times
- Answer customer questions about products, pricing, and promotions
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining product displays
- Count cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Report discrepancies in cash amounts to supervisor
- Follow all loss prevention and store security procedures
