At this time, Roald Smith Construction is looking for skilled and qualified Carpenters who want to further their career within the trades. Experience in the position is mandatory. Candidates must be motivated, detail oriented and willing to take on physically demanding duties. The role requires early mornings, stamina and comprehension of the Carpentry role, tools and equipment required to fulfill duties of the job, measure, cut, shape, assemble, prepare, install and fit millwork.

Salary- $28.00 to $30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 37.50 hours per week

Responsibilities/Tasks
Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
Instruct apprentices
Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
